Q. Is this M1 tested?
A. Yes, you will receive a M1 test certificate with your bed.
Q. Do the beds come with tested ISOFIX?
A. Yes! Our glide beds are now ISOFIX accredited. If you do require ISOFIX on your bed, please specify this at the time of booking.
Q. How will I know how to fit my own bed?
A. The glide systems are only to be fitted via ourselves or a camper conversion company.
Q. Do you fit the beds?
A. Fitting at Vulcan HQ is included in the price, please note we are unable to do the vinyl floor but we do have many authorised fitters around the UK to do the fitting of the bed and floor for you.
Q. Are the beds easy to operate?
A. Yes, our beds are the easiest to operate on the market, we are happy to show you the correct technique. We also have gas struts on our beds to assist getting the bed back to seat position.
Q. Have you got a recliner function?
A. Yes, all our beds come with a recliner as standard.
Q. Do I need to purchase a fitting kit?
A. No, all our beds come with the fitting kit free of charge.
Q. How easy is it to move forward?
A. Super easy, you need to unscrew the two lobe knobs and move the bed forward to your designated position.
Q. How long is your Leadtime?
A. 2-3 weeks on frame only, for upholstery it is always best to ring us as this changes daily.
Q. How do I know if this is suitable to my vehicle?
A. The glide beds are suitable for VW T5-T6.1 SWB/LWB and the FTC SWB only.
Q. Do I need to inform my insurance?
A. We always recommend notifying your insurance, we also recommend changing your V5C too.
